The Paragon Park Museum
Located in the Clock Tower building adjacent to the Carousel on Nantasket Avenue, the Paragon Park Museum and Museum Shop explore the history of Nantasket Beach and the beloved amusement park that operated on its shores for more than eighty years.
Museum visitors can relive the nostalgia of visits to Paragon Park and return to the Hull of the Victorian Era, when Nantasket was a bustling transit hub and resort town for the wealthy and well-connected.
Both Paragon Park and Nantasket Beach have a storied history. We’ve assembled a growing exhibit of artifacts, memorabilia, videos, and storyboards which tell the magical story of visionary George A. Dodge’s construction of Paragon Park in 1905. The journey begins at the turn of the last century and will bring you through to the closing of the park in 1985.
The Restoration Studio is an integral part of the Paragon Park Museum. Here, you can watch Carousel Curator James Hardison as he restores these beautiful horses to their once-exquisite beauty.
The Paragon Park Museum has the unique honor of recreating the past and bringing back fond memories for so many!
